We've already seen quite a number of Samsung smartphones receiving their fair share of updates to Android 7.0 Nougat, but the Korean company hasn't forgotten about the tablets it seems - especially the high-end models.
Both the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 and the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 are now in the process of receiving the tasty treat. We're talking about the original, 2015 Tab S2 models. As of now, the 9.7-inch Wi-Fi-only device with the model number SM-T810 is getting Nougat in Germany, while the 4G-capable SM-T715 8-incher undergoes the same treatment in Italy.
Once you apply the new software, you will have build T715XXU2CQCL or T810XXU2DQCL up and running, depending on which tablet you own of course. It goes without saying that you may not see the update notification today, since the rollout could be staged. Furthermore, if you bought your Tab S2 from another European country, you'll need to wait even longer. Anyway, the good news is that Android 7.0 is finally on the way for these tablets.
