What's up, Mate? TENAA certifies a Huawei with 5.9" 18:9 screen, dual camera

Could this be the Huawei Mate 10? It was rumored to have a 5.9” screen with 1,080 x 2,160px resolution (that’s 1080p expanded to 18:9) and this is exactly what this phone spotted on TENAA promises – the RNE-AL00 or Maimang 6 (not one of the rumored code names).

Anyway, we’re looking at a phone that measures 156.2 x 75.2 x 7.5mm or in other words slightly taller than the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 (which has a 6” 1,080 x 2,160px screen). Inside the metal body is a 3,240mAh battery, the whole thing weighs 164g.

The dual camera on the back has a 16MP + 2MP sensors while the dual camera on the front has 13MP + 2MP sensors. You read that right, four cameras! This feels a bit low res (especially the secondary 2MP modules) compared to the Huawei P10, which has 20MP + 12MP on the back.

If this is not the Mate 10, it could be the Honor 10. Whatever it is, it will run Android 7.0 Nougat on an octa-core processor (chipset unknown) with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage (plus a microSD card slot).

More recent rumors point to the Huawei Mate 10 – possibly split in a Pro and Lite versions – will have a 1,440 x 2,880px screen, not to mention a 20MP + 12MP camera. So this TENAA find could indeed be an Honor instead of a Mate.
