HTC had an announcement of its own too - the Desire 12s is a lower mid-ranger with interesting design and slightly underwhelming internals.
The week wasn't quite so good for Gionee - the Chinese maker officially going bankrupt. The company used to be quite big in its day, also serving as ODM for the likes of Allview and BLU, but it's days are now numbered.
In more expected developments the rumors about the phones we will be seeing in the early months of 2019 keep piling up - from Xiaomi to Nokia we had bits and pieces to add to a bunch of upcoming phones.
