Huawei's sub-brand Honor will release its first 5G smartphone in Q4 of 2019, said George Zhao, company president, during a talk at the Mobile World Congress in Shanghai.
He didn't reveal any future specs of the device but he did disclose that it will be a flagship phone.
Zhao expects that 5G smartphone sales will break the 100 million mark next year and he bets China will be the market to do it first.
