The Asus ROG Phone 2 will come with a 30W charger, according to a certification by the 3C. That’s the same power rating as the original ROG Phone, so there’s not going to be an upgrade in this department.
There seem to be two versions – I001DA and I001DB. The “B” model supports charging at 5-10V and 3A, which works out to 30W maximum. The “A” tops out at 9V at 2A = 18W, same as the Zenfone 6.
The model number of the ROG Phone 2, I001D, also cropped up in FCC documents and in a certificate from the Wi-Fi Alliance.
The Asus ROG Phone 2 will sport a 120Hz display and Tencent, Asus’ partner, is working on 120Hz-enabled games starting with “Under the One Man” (more games are on the way). The phone should come out later this month.
