HTC's 2017 flagship, the U11+, is finally receiving Android 9.0 Pie - perhaps a bit too late to the party given that Android Q is right around the corner but it's good to have it anyway.
Reportedly, HTC is seeding the update in Taiwan at first and it's a hefty one - 1.45GB. The changelog isn't very descriptive but we are pretty sure visual changes and intrinsic Android 9.0 Pie features are at hand.
There's no word on when the rest of the HTC U11+ owners around the globe will get it, but if no major issues are found in this extended soak test it should only be a few days.
