Today vivo introduced its Y19 mid-ranger in Vietnam and Thailand. If the phone seems familiar it's because it shares its design with the vivo U3 that debuted in China last month.
The Y19 is not the exact same phone though as it uses the MediaTek Helio P65 chipset as opposed to the Snapdragon 675. Elsewhere the specs are more or less unchanged.
The vivo Y19 has a 6.53” screen with Full HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch and three cameras on the back alongside an LED flash.
A 5,000 mAh battery powers the Y19 and it supports fast charging and reverse charging through a cable. Unlike the vivo U3, here we have only one memory combination - 6GB RAM and 128GB.
The shooters on the back are 16MP regular, 8MP ultrawide angle, 2MP depth sensor, while the front-facing camera does 16MP stills. There is also a feature called Pose Master that intelligently selects your best pose for a photo, because who knows what might happen if you try to be yourself for once.
While the Vietnamese website of vivo is not revealing any prices, Thai fans can purchase the phone in Black or White from Lazada for THB6,999, which translates to $230/€200. The phone can be pre-ordered now, but shipping is said to begin on November 5.
