Honor has officially separated from Huawei, but at that point a lot of products were inevitably too far along in the pipeline to change. A new device called “Honor V40 Light Luxury Edition” has appeared online, and it looks just like the Huawei nova 8 series from the back - an oval island with one huge lens, three smaller cameras and a single LED flash.
The phone is expected to arrive as Honor V40 Lite, and it looks spectacular in the hands-on photos. The blue-green color with mirror finish bends the light in a magnificent way, while the white option appears to have a matte glass on top, adding a pearl-like gradient.
Thanks to these photos we are also pretty confident the new Honor V40 phone will have an OLED panel, given that a conventional power key is visible, therefore the fingerprint scanner is under the display.

What we don’t know is whether the 2.5D curved front will have one camera or two - if it's a sole shooter, we’re looking at a rebranded nova 8, if there is a dual snapper, it is the nova 8 Pro.
