Realme has been teasing its 8 series for a while now, and while it's yet to explicitly confirm its launch date, the company dropped a video earlier today teasing the March 24 unveiling of the Realme 8 lineup.
The video stars Mr. Madhav Sheth - VP of Realme and CEO of Realme India and Europe - who's shown driving a sports car at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, India. At the 1:43 mark, Realme confirms a launch on March 24, and between the 2:06 and 2:16 mark, Mr. Sheth reveals the company's 108MP camera smartphone will be unveiled on the said date. You can watch the full video below.
The Realme 8 series is expected to include a regular 8 and a Pro variant, and while the video doesn't have any mention of either of these smartphones, previously shared teasers revealed the vanilla 8 will sport a 64MP camera while the Pro model will pack a 108MP camera.
Both phones will feature quad cameras on their rear panels, which will look similar and have the big "Dare To Leap" text we recently saw on the Realme X7 Pro.
Realme hasn't divulged much about the 8 Pro yet, but an image posted by Mr. Sheth on Twitter confirmed the non-Pro version will come with a Helio G95 SoC, 6.4" AMOLED screen, 5,000 mAh battery, and 30W charging.
