Realme has finally brought the GT series to India during an event that also saw the debut of the company’s first notebook called Realme Book Slim.
The first two GT phones to hit India are the Realme GT 5G with Snapdragon 888 and the Realme GT Master with its fancy suitcase-inspired Gray leather back by Naoto Fukasawa. They will begin selling on August 25 at Flipkart, Realme.com and offline stores.
The Realme GT series is said to be Flagship Killer 2021, and we can see why the company thinks it has a shot of that title. The GT 5G smartphone has a Snapdragon 888 chipset, 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
It also comes with a lovely 6.43” Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 64MP main camera, and 65W fast charging.
The GT Master is more of a midranger with a Snapdragon 778G chipset, 64MP triple camera on the back and a 32MP selfie shooter. The battery is a tad smaller than the GT 5G but it keeps the 65W fast charging capabilities. It also shares the same screen with its flagship sibling, down to the size and resolution.
The Realme GT 5G is sold in Dashing Silver, Dashing Blue, and Racing Yellow and starts from INR37,999 ($510).
The Realme GT Master will be available a day later, August 26, in Cosmos Black, Lunar White, and Voyager gray and costs INR25,999 ($350) for the 6/128 GB version, INR27,999 ($375) for the 8/128 GB option, and INR29,999 (over $400) for the 8/256 GB variant.
Flipkart has offers that can bring the prices down further INR7,000-INR12,000 ($95-$160) through its Smart Upgrade program.
