HTC announced its Vive Cosmos VR headset during 2019's CES but gave us little details at that point. Today the company tweeted a little something about the device.

For starters, the Vive Cosmos will offer a whopping 88% increase in resolution compared to the original Vive so the LCD panels have 2880 x 1700px combined resolution.
The device also comes with six cameras for improved tracking, which include smooth controls and room-scale experiences. A modular face plate is also included in the new package so it can be swapped in the future if needed.
The new Vive Cosmos will introduce improved ergonomics too. The new vented front design will keep you cooler than before and the flip-up design will allow you to exit the VR experience without having to remove the headset.
