The Chinese company imoo is popular among parents with its smart wearables tailored for small children. Back in November we reviewed the Watch Phone Z6, and now the brand follows that up with the imoo Watch Phone Z1.
The new watch brings 4G connectivity on 13 globally available bands, and offers chat so kids can stay connected and safe at all times. To avoid any health concerns, the Watch Phone Z1 comes with anti-radiation materials that are also nice to the skin, and imoo confirmed the wearable has been certified by TUV-Sud for its safety.
The key selling point of the Watch Phone Z1 is its front-facing camera for video calls. It can also take photos thanks to the 2MP sensor and f/2.4 lens with 79-degree FoV. The 1.3" TFT LCD has 240x240 resolution.

The device is IPX8-rated for water resistance, while its rubberized body means it can survive quite a lot of impacts. The battery on the inside is 740 mAh and can work up to three days on a single charge.
Price of the imoo Watch Phone Z1 is set at £99/€99/$99/AUD139. First sale of the device, offered in Pink or Green, is scheduled to be between July 26 and August 11 on the company website.
